Sarah and Dre met through a shared interest in marine life, working at the aquatics store "Love the Reef" in Wilmington. They were friends and coworkers for years before finally sharing their deeper feelings with one another.
Despite a few awkwardly Covid-era dates, thanks to a mutual love of watching The Great British Baking Show and yet undeniable chemistry, their relationship grew into more and more.
Eventually, they moved in together in the Merrimack Valley area. Dre had to become a "parront" to Sarah's pet Quaker parakeet, April, but he rose to the noisy challenge- and April adores her unfeathery father.
Together they love to go to art museums, concerts, the beach, mini golf, and go-karting. They have shared memorable trips in Iceland, San Diego, Cape Cod, and van-camping in Vermont.
